Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer I to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. The role collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and city officials to ensure timely and compliant project execution.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience and 4–7 years in telecommunications or network planning. Strong proficiency with engineering tools and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 4–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for fiber deployments (FTTN/FTTH/FTTT).
• Review design prints and redlines; ensure accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize AutoCAD, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
