Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer II to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. This role collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and city officials to ensure smooth project execution.

You will prepare work orders, review prints, develop OSP designs, and manage invoices and budgets. Strong communication and organization are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–7 years in telecommunications, engineering, or network planning.
• Proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections for accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use tools like AutoCAD, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office; Ivaula referenced.
• Process invoices, verify financial docs, resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
