Job summary

Meta's Network Investments team owns the commercial development and delivery of fiber network capacity across North America, partnering with providers to design, source, and deploy capacity that powers Meta's apps and AI infrastructure.

The Network Development Manager will lead provider engagements, drive end-to-end negotiations (IRU, dark fiber leases), and own delivery milestones while mentoring junior team members and influencing multi-year capacity strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience owning vendor/provider relationships and commercial outcomes.
• Proven track record leading commercial negotiations from strategy to execution.
• Knowledge of fiber route design and IRU/lease structures.
• Experience communicating status and risk to senior leadership.
• Ability to build business cases with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic relationships with providers and manage performance.
• Identify and evaluate new fiber routes and capacity solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations for IRU and dark fiber leases.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across NIE, Planning, Finance, Legal, and Sourcing.
• Ensure delivery against milestones and SLAs.
• Mentor less-experienced NDMs.
