Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fiber Estimator to support hyperscale data center builds. The role requires strong fiber knowledge, solid estimating fundamentals, and the ability to deliver under aggressive timelines.

You will develop accurate cost estimates for low-voltage systems, coordinate with sales and project management, and build competitive pricing for multi-building campus projects in the United States.

Qualifications

• > 3–7 years fiber or low-voltage estimating experience.
• > Strong understanding of installation methods and production rates.
• > Data center experience preferred.
• > Advanced Excel and Bluebeam skills.
• > Ability to manage multiple fast-paced bids with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Estimate SMF/MMF, OSP/ISP, MPO/MTP, high-count fiber systems
• Build labor-driven costs (pulling, splicing, terminating, testing)
• Produce accurate takeoffs from complex drawings and incomplete designs
• Level vendor quotes and drive competitive pricing
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and execution constraints
• Support multi-building campus estimates
