Job summary

GoNetspeed is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to independently engage customers in outdoor, door-to-door settings in the Bangor, ME area. You will promote fiber internet, home phone, and streaming TV, meeting 50+ doors daily and aligning plans with customer needs.

Base salary starts at $35,000 with uncapped commissions, aiming for total compensation of $70,000–$125,000 per year. Training is provided, with mileage allowance and benefits. Must be able to travel locally and work 10 AM–7 PM.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel locally and work a full-time schedule (10 AM–7 PM).

Responsibilities

• Meet customers face to face through door-to-door outreach.
• Sell Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV.
• Knock on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right plan.
• Stay current on product offerings and competitor options.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and earn commission.
• Participate in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed.

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)

$70,000 - $125,000 a year

Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
