Job summary

GoNetspeed, a leading fiber internet provider, seeks an outside sales representative to join our field team. You will represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, meeting customers face to face and promoting fiber internet plans.

Base salary is $35,000 with uncapped commissions and a total target compensation of $70,000 to $125,000 per year. Training is provided; you’ll work outdoors, 40 hours weekly, and travel locally.

• No experience required; training provided.
• Capable of working independently in outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to travel locally and meet customers.

Responsibilities

• Represent GoNetspeed in local neighborhoods through door-to-door outreach.
• Sell Fiber Internet and home services to customers.
• Knock on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable plans.
• Meet monthly sales goals and maximize commission.
• Participate in community events to promote GoNetspeed.

What You’ll Do (Field-Based – Limited Office Reporting!)

You’ll represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, helping people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet. Your day will include:

• Meeting customers face to face through door to door outreach
• Selling Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV
• Knocking on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the right plan
• Staying current on product offerings and competitor options
• Achieving monthly sales goals and earning big on commission
• Participating in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

What You Bring

Experience is helpful but not required: we fully train you. You’re a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Skills That Help You Stand Out

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)
