Job summary

EnterSource is seeking motivated, entry-level Fiber Installers to join our team. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks for residential and business customers. On-the-job training and growth potential are available in a dynamic telecommunications environment.

Competitive starting pay, comprehensive training, and benefits are offered. Travel within the Southeast region may be required as part of field assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
• Willingness to travel within the United States.
• Pre-employment drug screen will be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and equipment.
• Run fiber and conduit, perform splicing, and test fiber connections.
• Follow detailed work orders and installation instructions.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and service activities.
• Travel to customer locations within the Southeast region as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights, including ladders and poles
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and follow technical procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Must be willing to travel within the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, telecommunications, or related field is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic electrical knowledge
