Planet Networks is seeking a Fiber Optic Installer to deliver top‑quality fiber installation and IT services for our local community. You will install, prepare, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and systems to ensure reliable connectivity for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work nights and weekends. Our team values safety, strong customer service, and clear communication in a fast‑paced field environment.

Job Description

As a Fiber Optic Installer, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch fiber optic installation and IT services to our local community. Your responsibilities will include expertly installing, preparing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and systems, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform modifications, construction, and thorough examinations of various electronic and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license.
• Experience in fiber optic splicing/termination is a plus, highlighting your expertise in the field.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective interactions with customers and internal staff.
• Ability to convey potential issues to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
• Maintain composure under pressure, handling rapidly changing circumstances with calm and professionalism.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate project requirements. Must be willing to work Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Responsible and safe operation of company vehicles, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
