Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Fiber Installation Technician to hand-pull fiber, use blowers and pullers, and trench conduit to connect networks across job sites. You will coordinate with crew members to prepare handholes, install conduit, and read designs to ensure accurate layouts.

Responsibilities

• Hand-pull Fiber per company standards
• Use Fiber Puller and Fiber Blower to install fiber
• Set Handholes
• Trench conduit
• Cut concrete
• Core drill
• Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, Plenum)
• Proof conduit (rod and rope)
• Gain access to handhole and manholes
• Read Designs
• Set up traffic control
• Make ready wood poles
• Run equipment (Fiber Puller, Fiber Blower, Mini Excavator, Micro Plow, Aerial Lift)

The Fiber Installation Technician is to be responsible for properly pulling fiber by hand, with a fiber puller, or blowing fibers. Setting handholes per company standards. Trenching in conduit to depth. Work with other crew members.
