Job summary

Conxxus is seeking a entry-level telecom install technician in Clinton, IL to perform fiber and copper service installations, and to provision Internet/IPTV/VOIP services for residential and small business customers.

You will travel to customer sites in company vehicles, work with various installation tools, and coordinate with support teams. A high school diploma, valid license, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends are required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level position with willingness to learn install processes.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Knowledge of mechanical and consumer devices; comfortable at height and in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Twisted pair copper (ADSL/VDSL) and fiber installations.
• Provision and monitor Internet/IPTV/VOIP services.
• Travel in company vehicles for service calls/on-site projects.
• Work with coax/fiber tools and equipment.
• Communicate procedures, policies, and other information to customers.
• Work with support to resolve customer issues.
