Prince Telecom is hiring Fiber Optic InstallationTechnicians to join our team in the Lawrenceville, GA area!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay range: $17-$20/hr + incentives!

Included: Paid training, Company Provided Vehicle, Cell Phone, Tools, PPE, and more!

What you will do:

• Install and repair fiber optic systems.
• Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches.
• Perform tests on company issued devices and customer devices.
• Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.
• Complete paperwork accurately and report/record all work order status updates.
• Greet and interact with customers in a professional courteous manner, including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns.
  
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.
  
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
  

Who we are looking for…

• Minimum 18 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Telecom/Fiber experience
• Comfortable working in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.)
• Comfortable working through inclement weather
• Able to use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Effective communication skills
• Able to travel and work extended hours (overtime and weekends as needed)
• Able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
