Position Summary

As an Integration Technician, you will work in an environment where you will install and configure operating room integration systems. In this role, you will interpret project documents (Proposals, Port Maps, Wiring Diagrams, Infrastructure Drawings, etc.), use various hand tools to install equipment including terminating cables, employ test equipment to ensure systems are correctly installed and energized, and verify system configurations with hospital networks. This role involves extensive travel, including driving and overnight stays.

Travel Expectations

You will travel to various installation sites across the country via company vehicle or air travel, typically booked 1-3 weeks in advance. Travel may include day trips, overnight trips, or stays up to a week, with hours varying based on customer needs. Overtime is common but not guaranteed.

This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in Texas to support the assigned territory.

Key Duties
  • Assist in installing operating room integration systems, including equipment placement, cable termination, software configuration, and testing.
  • Support project installations under supervision, performing testing and demonstrations of systems.
  • Provide progress reports and perform administrative tasks like checklists, expense reporting, and time entry.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to safety protocols when working with customers, contractors, and management.
Required Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of recent installation experience or an Associate's degree in Electronics or similar, plus 1+ year of related experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of PCs, video technology, cabling, and networking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Windows software and computers.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and work outside normal hours, with extensive travel.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience.
  • Biomed or Hospital IT experience.
