Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in cable installation and splicing.
• Strong understanding of outside plant (OSP) underground construction and fiber splicing.
• Ability to identify issues before delays.
• Familiarity with GIS, As-Builts, and fiber network design.
• Experience with project management software (Smartsheets and Vitruvi).

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from design through closeout.
• Coordinate multiple crews, schedules, vendors, and materials.
• Review RFPs, permit drawings, and finalize construction drawings.
• Develop optimized fiber network designs and routing maps.
• Manage service orders and contracts for cabling projects.
• Act as Contract Manager through final payment.
• Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and identify risks.
