Job summary

TWE Nonwovens US Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the Quality Manager/Quality Engineer, ensuring procedures are followed and product quality is maximized. You will assist in lab testing, data entry, and 6S housekeeping while coordinating with receiving for material testing.

Role involves working in a hot/cold manufacturing setting, with focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to achieve customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in nonwovens is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team or independently.
• Able to work in hot/cold manufacturing environment and stand or sit for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures (LOTO, guarding).
• Inspect incoming raw material per SOP RPG055 4.12 & 4.19.
• Coordinate with receiving to pull tested material on arrival.
• Provide administrative support for the Quality Department.
• Data input and review.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping during shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position will report directly to the Quality Manager/Quality Engineer and work together with the quality team to follow procedures and work instructions to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction. The quality inspector will also perform developmental work for research projects, improvement initiatives, and maintain and develop overall quality while maintaining the testing equipment to provide technical support and guidance on projects regarding lab testing and analysis to assist in overall evaluations of products, processes, and potential raw material

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (i.e. LOTO, Guarding).
• Inspect incoming raw material as called out in SOP RPG055 4.12 & 4.19.
• Work closely with receiving to ensure all lots of material that need to be tested get pulled when received.
• Provide administrative support for the Quality Department.
• Follow and interpret policies and procedures.
• Data input and review.
• Actively participate in the 6S Process and maintain housekeeping during the shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
