Job summary

TWE Nonwovens US Inc. is seeking a Quality/Production Operator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will perform hourly production inspections, test raw materials and composites, and support the Quality Department while following safety guidelines.

This full-time hourly position includes 2/2/3 swing shifts and a night shift schedule, with attendance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Nonwovens experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate testing equipment and perform lab testing.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication; ability to work on a team as well as independently.
• Ability to work in hot/cold manufacturing environment, standing or sitting for the duration of the task.
• Ability to transport or move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to understand and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and/or other employees.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend when business demands warrant a 24-7 continuous operation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (i.e. LOTO, Guarding).
• Perform hourly production line inspections and record results.
• Prepare Master Control Samples.
• Assist with Certificate of Conformance reports.
• Assist with PPAP testing.
• Inspect and recommend disposition of Nonconforming or suspect material.
• Work closely with line personnel to ensure quality is understood throughout the production process.
• Provide administrative support for the Quality Department.
• Follow and interpret policies and procedures.
• Work with customer service and other departments as needed.
• Ensure calibrations are up to date.
• Follow up on corrective action or action plans.
• Document and data control review.
• Actively participate in the 6S Process and maintain housekeeping during the shift.
• Assist production personnel with tasks supporting the production line.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Shift:

• 2/2/3 Swing Shift Schedule 7:00am-7:00pm
• Night Shift Schedule Monday-Thursday 7pm-5am

Type: Full-Time

Pay: $17/hr. -$18/hr. and a weekly attendance bonus

Status: Hourly
