Job summary

Shentel is seeking an experienced Advanced Technician to install and support commercial voice, video, and data services across our fiber networks. You will assist with fiber deployments during upgrades and provide technical support with remote diagnostics and maintenance at headends, hubs, POP sites, and customer locations.

Responsibilities include integrating new technologies and network upgrades into existing Shentel infrastructure to ensure reliable broadband connectivity for business clients

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Advanced Technician role or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and support commercial voice, video, and data customers across fiber networks.
• Assist with commercial fiber deployments during optical network upgrades.
• Provide technical support, remote diagnostics, maintenance and installation of equipment in headends, hubs, POP sites and commercial customer locations.
• Integrate new technologies and network upgrades into existing Shentel infrastructure.
