Job summary

Long Lines Broadband is seeking a Field Services Technician 1 to join our team in Iowa. You will install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial broadband services, splice fiber, and support customers on-site.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, educating customers, and ensuring professional company image. A valid driver's license and 1–2 years of fiber or CATV experience are preferred. This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of CATV, fiber installation, or related technical/electronic experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, connect, upgrade, and repair customer services at residential and commercial locations.
• Maintain broadband system by testing, locating trouble, and repairing defective sections.
• Splice fiber to protector devices and central office cables; prepare fiber terminals for activation.
• Educate customers on services and proper equipment use; propose and sell additional services.
