Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Industry and vendor certifications (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E) preferred.
• Maintenance tech or 1+ year field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CWDM/DWDM and fiber architectures required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Locate and repair fiber impairments in the field.
• Maintain and improve Spectrum's fiber network.
• Work primarily independently with team support as needed.
• Inspect existing fiber plant and connect new builds for customers.
• Undertake field work in varying weather and conditions.
