Job summary

NextLink is hiring a Field Operations Technician to install fiber drops, bore conduits, and set up vaults. You will work outdoors, in teams, communicating with customers about drop placements and equipment routing.

You must handle tools, lift heavy components, and follow safety protocols. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drugscreen and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit path under driveways and sidewalks for fiber drops.
• Install fiber drops and related equipment.
• Landscaping restoration after installations.
• Take photos of work and document any property damage.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work with customers and communicate placement of equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Travel 0-30% as needed.
