Job summary

BrilliantTM is seeking an Installer/Technician (ISP/OSP) with an active BICSI Level II Installer Certification to support fiber and copper cabling across Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) environments. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, testing, and field coordination with safety and quality at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of ISP/OSP experience, reads blueprints, and travels to job sites.

Qualifications

• Active BICSI Level II Installer Certification required.
• 3–5 years of ISP/OSP installation experience.
• Proficiency with fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Experience with testing equipment (OTDR, light source/power meter, copper certifiers).
• Ability to read prints, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling systems in ISP/OSP environments.
• Perform fiber splicing (fusion and mechanical), copper termination, and enclosure setup per standards.
• Install pathways, raceways, racks, cabinets, grounding, and bonding systems.
• Coordinate daily field activities with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and materials in a safe, organized, and job-ready condition.
