Job summary

Aetos Systems is seeking a Cable & Wire Technician to install, splice, terminate and test copper and fiber optic cable systems, including pathways and cable trays.

You will perform underground construction, install innerduct, read schematics, and operate a range of construction and testing equipment. A valid Florida driver's license and NASA background eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Journey-level role with ability to work independently.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to pass NASA background checks.
• Must pass initial and random drug testing.
• Must maintain a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, terminate and test copper and fiber optic cable systems.
• Perform underground construction for cable path creation and modification.
• Install innerduct and multicell innerduct; fabricate cable pathways.
• Set up and operate various construction equipment and testing tools.
• Troubleshoot using test equipment; document results and logs.
• Adhere to OSHA, NASA, company and customer safety requirements.
• May assist in training others.
