Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years required in fiber optic construction management or a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Telecommunications construction and engineering practices.
• Project budget creation and management, scheduling, cost reporting, and field office operations.
• Solid business acumen and experience managing large telecom construction projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience using MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Construction Manager and Engineering teams to review project designs (long-haul, metro, fiber to towers).
• Review and ensure permits, contracts, and project requirements are understood and followed.
• Create and manage project work plans, scopes, schedules, budgets, and contractor bid documents; monitor timelines and materials.
• Lead Field Technicians and Contractors, reviewing field production reports and invoicing.
• Assign duties to Field Technicians; travel to on-site locations and supervise field teams.
• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality installations, on-time performance, and stay under budget.
• Define project scope and deliverables; interpret specifications and communicate requirements to staff and customers.
• Represent the project in communications with jurisdictions and customers; maintain relationships.
• Ensure agreements, permits, and compliance are in place and project is compliant.
• Maintain regular communication with Field Technicians and other departments; produce quality results.
