Job summary

TAK Broadband seeks a Director of Construction to lead multi-state fiber and underground construction projects from concept through completion in the San Antonio, TX market. You will guide teams, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while driving safety and efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in underground construction with fiber exposure and 5+ years in leadership, plus a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of underground construction, aerial, coax and fiber experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering and/or equivalent work experience a plus
• OSHA 20 Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50% annually to support multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Provide daily management and strategic direction for multi-state projects and teams
• Manage internal and external resources to meet deadlines and goals
• Lead start-up processes for new construction activities and regional acquisitions; assess risk, budgets, scope, and schedules
• Visit project sites and collaborate with local leaders to ensure safe, on-time project delivery
• Oversee supply chain, budgeting, and financial management at project level and for departments
