Job summary

PRG in North Carolina seeks an experienced Construction Coordinator to oversee OSP telecom projects, blending field and office duties such as supervising underground and aerial fiber installation, coordinating permitting, and ensuring safety and project documentation.

This hybrid role requires daily site travel, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite, and the ability to lead subcontractors while maintaining client relations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in underground cable construction.
• Knowledge of fiber and/or coax construction.
• Willingness to travel daily and work outdoors/indoors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Field: conduct pre- and post-construction site walkouts.
• Verify as-builts, troubleshoot build-out issues, ensure subcontractor safety.
• Identify permitting requirements and communicate with customers.
• Office: prepare BOM and NTP packages.
• Track weekly construction activity and manage permitting and project documentation.
