You will lead underground and aerial fiber installation, manage permits, prepare BOM/NTP packages, and track weekly activity while maintaining safety and quality across sites, with occasional overtime in a hybrid field-office role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in underground cable construction.
• Strong knowledge of fiber construction, engineering principles, and dig laws/regulations.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors, travel daily to sites, and perform physical tasks in varied conditions.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Hybrid role requiring field and office work with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Field: conduct pre- and post-construction site walkouts.
• Field: verify as-builts, troubleshoot build-out issues, and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards.
• Field: identify permitting requirements and communicate with impacted customers.
• Office: prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) packages.
• Office: track and report weekly construction activity.
• Office: manage permitting with municipalities and compile project documentation.
