The ideal candidate has 3+ years in circuit design or provisioning, strong knowledge of fiber networks, Layer 1/2, and experience using or interfacing with Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Nokia, Fujitsu, or Smartoptics gear.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of circuit design or service provisioning experience.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic infrastructure and Ethernet services.
• Familiarity with Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking.
• Ability to create circuit diagrams and design documents.

Responsibilities

• Review service requests and develop practical circuit designs.
• Determine fiber routes, ports, VLANs, and IP resources.
• Update circuit records and BOMs.
• Coordinate with network engineers and provisioning teams.
• Ensure designs meet engineering and documentation standards.
