Job summary

Armstrong Utilities in Ohio is seeking a Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair internet and telephone services for residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, ensuring high reliability and customer satisfaction.

Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. BPI certification can be earned within 12 months; on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license needed.
• High school diploma; IT/electronics a plus.
• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot voice and data services using modern test equipment.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling as required.
• Provide timely, detailed paperwork and feedback to improve services.
• Engage in continuous training and development; participate in on-call shifts.
