Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will provide tools and materials to the crew, move equipment, and ensure safety and notification processes are followed.

Candidates should be 18+, have legal authorization to work in the U.S., and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license and pole climbing certification (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction are completed before starting work.
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call/after-hours as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
