Job summary

Verily Health seeks a Clinical Informaticist to architect FHIR data models and lead data harmonization across EHR, HIE, and claims sources. You will design FHIR-to-OMOP pipelines, standardize vocabularies, and build validation methods to ensure longitudinal data integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare data architecture, strong Python/SQL skills, and expertise with OMOP, FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA/CCD-A. This position is based in the United States and offers bonus, equity, and comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related technical field.
5+ years of professional healthcare data architecture or clinical informatics experience.
Experience with OMOP, FHIR R4/R5, HL7 v2, CDA/CCD-A, or NCPDP.
Proficient in Python and SQL for healthcare data integration.

Responsibilities

Architect FHIR data models aligned with IGs and profiles.
Harmonize and enrich data from EHRs, HIEs, and claims sources.
Develop and maintain FHIR-to-OMOP ETL pipelines using dbt and SQL.
Standardize data with SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, RxNorm; manage value sets.
Create validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and longitudinal integrity.
Produce clear data design documentation for cross-functional teams.
