Ladders is seeking a Clinical Data Architect to join our healthcare client on a remote basis for US-based candidates. You will shape the data foundation that supports clinical operations, interoperability, and trustworthy analytics across diverse healthcare data sources.

You will harmonize complex datasets with clinical, technical, and operational partners, leveraging FHIR, OMOP, SNOMED CT, and LOINC to build reliable, standards-based assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare data architecture or clinical informatics.
• Familiarity with OMOP and FHIR interoperability standards.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for healthcare data integration.
• Master’s degree or professional certificate in Clinical Informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect FHIR-compliant data models aligned with implementation guides and internal standards.
• Design data harmonization strategies to unify data from EHRs, HIEs, and claims.
• Develop FHIR-to-OMOP transformation pipelines using dbt and SQL.
• Standardize healthcare data using clinical terminologies like SNOMED CT and LOINC.
• Establish validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and document requirements for teams.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Clinical Data Architect to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will shape the data foundation that supports clinical operations, interoperability, and trustworthy analytics across healthcare data sources. You will work closely with technical, clinical, and operational partners to harmonize complex datasets and turn them into reliable, standards-based assets. The position calls for deep experience with healthcare data architecture, with a strong emphasis on FHIR, OMOP, and clinical terminology management.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $119,500 – $179,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Architect FHIR-compliant data models aligned with implementation guides and internal standards
