Job summary

The Nemours Foundation's Fetal Care Center in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Fetal Nurse Coordinator to lead care coordination for expectant families, coordinating fetal imaging, consultations, and postpartum planning within a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will assess medical and psychosocial history, educate families about diagnoses and care options, and ensure timely communication among referring providers, Nemours teams, and patients.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years of fetal, NICU, or L&D experience.
• Ability to coordinate complex obstetric care with families and clinicians.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care for expectant patients referred to NFCC and follows up.
• Oversees fetal imaging and prenatal consultations with MFM team.
• Communicates with the collaborative team and escalates critical results promptly.
• Assesses medical, obstetric and psychosocial history of patients.
• Educates patients and families about fetal diagnosis and care options.
• Ensures understanding of referral process and visit expectations.
• Manages maternal records acquisition and ensures record completeness.
• Maintains patient encounters in EMR and NFCC database.
