Job summary

Sundance Institute seeks a Festival Associate Manager, Belonging to lead inclusive, postitive experiences for the Festival community. The role manages incident reporting, trainings, and resources while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure safety and belonging throughout the Festival operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role related to DEIAB or people operations with a focus on fostering inclusive environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies to implement inclusive programs.
• Familiarity with mental health support resources and strategies for addressing triggering content or experiences.
• Strong project management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication for engaging diverse community members and partners.
• Knowledge of incident reporting systems and safety compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Festival-specific belonging initiatives to foster an inclusive environment for the Sundance Institute community.
• Oversee the internal incident reporting system with escalation and thorough documentation.
• Deliver training and resource materials to internal and external partners on belonging and code of conduct.
• Build partnerships with outside agencies and internal teams to provide support resources during the Festival.
• Coordinate pre-Festival training for Theater and Operations teams on belonging policies and procedures.
• Develop guides and materials detailing local and remote mental health resources and reporting processes.
• Program and manage a Wellness Hub during the Festival in collaboration with internal teams.
• Process and record all incident reports, including injuries, ensuring stakeholder communication.
• Support patron accommodation requests with the Accessibility team as needed.
• Draft wrap reports summarizing key takeaways, outcomes, and recommendations.
