Job summary

Road & Rail Services is hiring a Railcar Loading Operator for fertilizer operations in the Mulberry/Bone Valley area. The role involves monitoring loading, inspecting product quality, and using remote-controlled equipment to position railcars on a rotating day/night schedule.

No prior railroad experience is required; training will be provided to learn procedures, safety requirements, and equipment. The job is outdoor and physically demanding with frequent climbing and elevated work.

Qualifications

• Rotating swing shift availability, including days and nights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and temperatures.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and procedures.
• Dependable attendance and transportation to site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fertilizer as it is transferred into railcars.
• Observe product flow and distribution during loading.
• Verify correct product and load amount for each railcar.
• Perform quality inspections to prevent contamination or incorrect loads.
• Operate remote-controlled equipment to position railcars.
• Work from elevated platforms and around railcars.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues and follow procedures.
