Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU Recovery RN to join our Eastside Brooklyn NY team. The role is part-time with a schedule Monday through Friday, offering 20 hours per week with occasional weekends and holidays.

Compensation is $55 per hour, commensurate with experience, and the environment supports growth within a nationally respected fertility network. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, patient/family support, IV sedation care, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.
• Over 1 year nursing experience and PACU experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• In this role, the OR/PACU Recovery RN will: Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation. conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
