Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU Recovery RN for per diem coverage at our New York locations (Eastside and Brooklyn). Expect weekday shifts with weekend rotation and a 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM ET window; 2–4 shifts monthly, 4–6 hours each. Compensation is $55 per hour and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.
• Over 1 year nursing experience; PACU experience preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and charting.
• Excellent communication, concise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed.
