Job summary

US Fertility is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant (Phlebotomy-focused) for the Westside, New York location. Schedule is up to 28 hours per week, Monday–Friday with rotation weekends and holidays. Compensation ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The role supports a nationally respected fertility network, performing phlebotomy, specimen handling, and receptionist duties while keeping patient care at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills are essential.
• High school diploma required; formal medical training preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions.
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services using logs and EMR.
• Enter lab orders and print labels in the computer.
• Assist with patient check-in/out, scheduling, and payments.
• Prepare rooms for procedures and assist as needed.
