US Fertility, the nation’s leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Houston, Texas location. This role involves phlebotomy, clinical support, and direct patient interaction within a nationally recognized fertility network including Shady Grove Fertility.

The ideal candidate has completed a formal Medical Assistant program, strong phlebotomy skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Strong phlebotomy skills.
• Background in women’s health preferred.
• Strong patient orientation and be a team player.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care in daily logs and patient records.
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with procedures.
• Take vital signs and provide clinical support.
• Provide pre- and post-op education.
• Establish a compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Handle administrative tasks and prior authorizations.
