US Fertility is hiring a Medical Assistant in Houston, TX. You will perform phlebotomy, manage lab supplies, and support physicians and ultrasound technicians across multiple clinics in the Houston area.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services in logs and records.
• Use computer to enter labs and print labels.
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with procedures.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide clinical assistance.
• Support fertility patients’ clinical care.
• Provide patient/couple counseling and education.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for anMedical Assistant to join our team atShady Grove Fertility in Houston,Texas. This role Floats to Clear Lake, Beaumont, Memorial City, Katy, and Spring Woodlands Texas.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM; weekend rotation in Clear Lake, Texas

In this role, the Medical Assistant will:

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure
• Assist with HSGs as needed
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provides pre and post op education
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
• Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
