Job summary
Pinnacle Fertility in Arlington, VA seeks an Andrologist/Endocrine Lab Technician for a full-time, onsite role. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. You will perform hormone testing, operate specialized lab equipment, and support embryology and patient care teams.
Ideal candidates hold a BS in Biology or Chemistry, with strong lab coursework and meticulous attention to detail. New graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of lab experience is a plus, and you must
Qualifications
- BS in Biology or Chemistry or related field.
- Minimum 'B' average in relevant lab courses.
- New graduates encouraged to apply; 1–2 years lab experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform hormone assays (FSH, LH, prolactin, estradiol, testosterone).
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment (Toso machine).
- Collect, process and analyze blood samples for hormone testing.
- Conduct semen analysis and prepare for procedures (insemination/cryopreservation).
- Follow SOPs, OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA standards for quality and compliance.
- Maintain inventory, assist with QC/QA/QI programs.
- Support embryologists with prep and accurate record-keeping.
- Educate patients on specimen collection procedures.
