Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an Andrology Lab Technician to join our network of fertility centers in Webster, Houston, Memorial City, and Spring Woodlands, Texas. The role supports semen analysis, sample handling, and ART procedures in a fast-paced clinical lab environment.

You will work 6:45 AM–3:15 PM CT, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays, contributing to quality control and accreditation efforts while partnering with a nationwide team of physicians.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biology or related science and/or MLT ASCP certification.
• Minimum of one year laboratory experience.
• Experience with a chemistry analyzer strongly preferred.
• Tissue culture experience (sterile technique) and/or semen processing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive and disposition of frozen samples.
• Order and receive lab supplies.
• Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis.
• Perform counts for concentration and motility; histology for leucocytes and morphology.
• Process semen for ART procedures and IUIs.
• Ensure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody).
• Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment.
• Assist lab personnel in complying with laws and accreditation.
• Check and record daily refrigerator temperatures.
• Perform calibration and instrument maintenance checks.
• Monitor reagent supply and order as needed.
