Job summary

Conceptions Fertility Center is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team in Provo, UT. You will handle billing tasks related to patient accounts and insurance claims, verify eligibility, and ensure clean claims with timely reimbursement.

This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work closely with patients, providers, and staff. We offer competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour DOE, full-time from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, and benefits

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with a team mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of insurance authorization processes preferred.
• Experience in financial/billing roles required.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, fertility benefits, coverage requirements, and prior authorization needs.
• Review, prepare, and submit accurate insurance claims per payer guidelines.
• Monitor A/R and follow up on outstanding or underpaid claims.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, resubmissions, and appeals.
• Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments, ERA/EOB remittances, adjustments.
• Generate patient statements and assist with billing questions.
• Manage patient collections and payment plans as needed.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation and billing/collections reporting.
• Maintain billing records in compliance with payer contracts and HIPAA.
