Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee and manage contract negotiations, compliance, and administration for renewable energy projects. The Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and projects are executed in alignment with legal and regulatory standards. This position requires a strong background in contract management and a passion for renewable energy solutions.
What You Will Do :
Develop, negotiate, and review contracts for renewable energy projects.
Ensure contracts comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout.
Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, proposing solutions for potential disputes or challenges.
Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, procurement specialists, and stakeholders to address contractual matters.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts, amendments, and related correspondence.
Provide guidance and training to project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and best practices.
Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and market conditions that could impact contractual agreements.
Support claims management and dispute resolution processes as needed.
Who You Are: A Profile of Succes
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with renewable energy systems, industry standards, and permitting processes is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager - CCCM, Certified Professional Contract Manager - CPCM).
Knowledge of power purchase agreements (PPAs), grid interconnection agreements, and renewable energy financing.
