Job summary

IFF Beloit is seeking a manufacturing operator to join a collaborative, safety-focused team based on-site in Beloit, Wisconsin. You will operate fermentation and downstream recovery processes, prepare and set up equipment, collect samples, and document production activities while coordinating daily priorities and supporting maintenance and continuous improvement.

Strong EHS mindset, ability to work at heights, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are valued; associate degree or higher, plus 3+

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and safe work practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
• Ability to work at heights, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 55 pounds, and wear required PPE including respiratory protection.

Responsibilities

• Operate fermentation and downstream recovery processes using field equipment and DCS.
• Prepare, clean, sanitize, and set up manufacturing equipment per SOPs and batch requirements.
• Execute batch operations, collect process samples, and maintain production documentation.
• Coordinate daily production activities by addressing scheduling priorities, equipment issues, and process challenges.
• Support equipment reliability through maintenance coordination, work orders, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
