Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) Beloit, WI is seeking a Production Technician II to operate on a rotating 2-2-3 12‑hour schedule a 24/7/365 operation. You will load/unload materials, run batch processing equipment, and document inventory in SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packaged goods and bulk liquids; document inventory in Excel and SAP.
• Operate batch processing equipment via automated programs (DCS).
• Prepare processing equipment per SOPs: setup, make-up, cleaning, packaging.
• Collect samples for analytical analysis and review batch records.
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping in the work area; assist SOP creation as needed.

Pay & Schedule

This is a rotating 2‑2‑3 12‑hour schedule that is 24/7/365. Built‑in OT as part of your schedule at 20 hours per pay cycle. 1.5x pay for Sundays. 3x pay for company holidays worked.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packaged goods and bulk liquid materials and perform computer inputs to document and maintain inventory via Excel and SAP
• Operate batch processing equipment by performing physical field work and operating equipment through automated programs (DCS)
• Prepare processing equipment in accordance with SOPs, which includes equipment setup, media make‑up, equipment cleaning, packaging, etc.
• Collect samples during manufacturing process(es) for analytical analysis.
• Collect and review all batch records. Relevant batch data includes in‑process data input and trending, among other items.
• Maintain area GMP and housekeeping
• Create and modify SOPs for new process or operations as needed

Requirements

• Required Skills
• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions, problem solve, and troubleshoot
• Ability to follow safety and environmental regulations
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders and be able to work above floor surfaces (heights)
• Willing and able to do moderate to heavy lifting (Up to 65 lbs.)
• Willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Preferred
• An Associate’s degree or higher in a scientific or technical field
• 1+ year of experience in a logistical, manufacturing, scheduling, or related role
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
