Job summary

Manus Bio in Augusta, GA is seeking a highly motivated Fermentation Plant Operator to join our manufacturing and process development team. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize fermentation and downstream processes, perform routine sampling, and help maintain equipment reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years in fermentation or related plants, and strong teamwork, communication, and safety adherence. Training in SOPs, DeltaV controls, and SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years fermentation or related plant operator experience.
• Familiar with production fermentation and downstream processes and equipment; microbiological and analytical lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interface with production to provide resources to solve fermentation and product isolation problems.
• Execute and help evaluate fermentation experiments; prepare equipment, media, and batch records.
• Coordinate day-to-day Fermentation Plant activities; troubleshoot upsets and optimize operations.
• Assist maintenance activities and ensure safety/environmental compliance.
