Job summary

Sumitomo Biorational is seeking a Production Operator to operate fermentation equipment at our Osage, IA site. You will handle media preparation, fermenters, sterilizers, centrifuges, evaporators, separators, and filtration equipment while following safety policies and ensuring quality and production targets are met.

The role requires adapting to various shifts and adherence to ISO9001 standards, with the ability to work in extreme temperatures and wear a full-face respirator as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use computerized interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in fermentation processes, including media prep, fermenters, sterilizers, centrifuges, evaporators, separators and filtration equipment.
• Comply with all policies, perform tasks safely and meet quality and production expectations.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and monitor for leaks; document procedures.
