Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking a Fermentation Process Operator to operate production equipment in our fermentation line, ensure quality, and document results. You will monitor computerized interfaces, perform minor equipment maintenance, complete required paperwork, and comply with safety, ISO 9001 quality standards, and environmental training programs.

High school diploma or GED is required; a 2-year technical degree or related experience is preferred; you must be able to use computerized

Qualifications

2-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
Must be able to use computerized interfaces and obtain an industrial truck license.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment in a fermentation process.
Comply with all policies and procedures.
Meet quality and production expectations.
Support and comply with safety and environmental training policies and programs.
Effectively operate all equipment in the assigned area.
Adjust equipment with assistance.
Use computerized operator interface to monitor and adjust critical equipment.
Perform minor equipment maintenance.
Complete required documentation.
Clean, sterilize and operate fermenters and filtration equipment.
Perform in-process testing.
Follow ISO 9001 quality standards.
