The role focuses on operating fermentation and downstream recovery equipment within batch manufacturing, following SOPs, and documenting process observations.

This position requires strong teamwork, safety focus, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule with PPE.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to EHS standards and safe work practices.
• Associate degree or higher in science/engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, biotech, chemical, or pharma environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate fermentation and downstream recovery equipment across batch manufacturing.
• Prepare processing equipment, set up media, cleaning, sanitization, and packaging per SOPs.
• Collect and document process samples to support lab analysis and QA.
• Execute batches per approved records and document observations.
• Maintain production documentation and records.
• Coordinate daily production by addressing scheduling, equipment, and process issues.
• Support continuous improvement for process optimization and efficiency.
• Maintain equipment reliability by initiating maintenance orders and collaborating with maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, QA, and Site Leadership for safe operations.
