Job summary

Manus Bio seeks a Fermentation Plant Operator for its Augusta, GA site. You will join the manufacturing and process development team, oversee fermentation, and support production.

Responsibilities include SOP-based equipment prep, sampling, batch records, and coordinating daily plant activities with safety compliance.

Requirements: HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in fermentation; strong teamwork and communication; adaptable to a startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years fermentation or related plant operator experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to follow instructions and support safe work practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible with day-to-day duties and startup environment.
  • Familiar with production fermentation and downstream processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with production to provide resources to solve fermentation and product isolation problems.
  • Prepare fermentation and downstream equipment per SOPs, including setup, media prep, and cleaning.
  • Collect samples during manufacturing for analytical analysis.
  • Prepare batch records and communicate parameters to process development SME.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Fermentation Plant activities, scheduling conflicts, and maintenance/troubleshooting.
  • Assist and provide hands-on support of Fermentation Plant maintenance activities.
  • Maintain equipment upkeep and ensure EH&S compliance and safety.
