Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a regulatory accounting analyst to support NGPL rate and tariff filings with the FERC. The role focuses on preparing revenue and cost of service schedules, cost allocation and rate design studies, and maintaining internal models for Section 4 or 5 rate case filings.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and strong Excel modeling skills, with desirable knowledge of FERC regulations and gas pipeline tariffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Education in FERC and/or utility accounting desirable.
• Education in natural gas utility operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual fuel filings and monthly fuel models/reports.
• Review revenues related to negotiated and discount rate agreements.
• Maintain and update tariff rates as needed.
• Communicate FERC-related policies to internal departments and ensure compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Job level commensurate with experience.
